Frequently Asked Questions
How do I set up a photo session?
Head over to my "Contact Me" tab and send me a message with a time frame of when you’d like to do a session. I’ll let you know my availability and help answer any questions you may have. Once we know a date that works for both of us, I’ll require a contract to be filled out as well as the retainer fee for your session to be paid. As soon as those items are received, we get to talk about all the fun stuff like locations, outfit ideas, etc.
What is included in the portrait session fee?
The session fee covers the photographer’s time and talent, editing fees and a gallery of edited images to download.
What do we wear?

Where will my session take place?
I have a list of location favorites that I like to share after the portrait contract and session fee are complete. You certainly do not have to use one of those locations but clients love to look through them to see the “look” they want.
Can we do multiple locations?
The session fee includes one location.
What time of day do you shoot your sessions?
I’m a huge lover of the golden hour when the sky acts like a giant softbox. That typically starts 1-1.5 hours before sunset so it depends on the time of year. Of course, dreary overcast days are a different story. We may need to bump your session early for lighting purposes. We will touch base the day of the session to make sure we’re good with weather, lighting, etc.
How long is a session?
Full portrait sessions are about one hour long.
How long before I get my photos back?
My turnaround time is typically 3 weeks for full portrait sessions. Check your contract for up to date info!
Can I get my images back faster?
Yes, I have a rush fee which is $100 to receive your images within 48 hours from the time of your session.
Do you offer payment plans?
I do not offer payment plans at this time.
Do you offer digital images?
Yes, a set amount of digital images are included in every portrait session.
Do I receive print rights/copyrights to my images?
Print rights, yes. Copyrights, no.
What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
It happens. Rain and high winds are inevitable. I keep a close eye on the weather for your session and together we make a game plan if the weather is conducive for both of us to make your session a success.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Absolutely! They make wonderful gifts and are available in any amount.
